was established in 1998 with the objective of uniting and representing owners and managers of small, medium and big newspapers across India.
The Society works towards:
- Protection of press freedom
- Strengthening democratic values
- Representing regional and national newspapers
- Promoting ethical journalism
- Organising national seminars, press day celebrations and award ceremonies
