Aims And Objectives
The Small–Medium–Big Newspapers Society (SMBNS) was founded in 1998 with a vision to unite and represent owners and managers of newspapers across India — from small regional publications to medium and large national dailies.
For over two decades, the Society has worked as a collective platform dedicated to strengthening the fourth pillar of democracy — the Press.
To promote, develop and stimulate the growth of the Media and Entertainment Industry for the achievement of international co-operation, peace
To establish and maintain a pool of knowledge comprising of website, library of books/DVDs and a museum to preserve such articles, documents and properties related to Press
To provide the members of the press a place where they can meet, discuss and exchange ideas related to the industry
To project India’s heritage, culture and people (who Have Made India Proud)
